Our Philosophy
Financial understanding should be accessible to everyone. Not just those with economics degrees or high incomes. That conviction shapes every decision we make about content and structure.
Why financial education matters for everyday life
Financial decisions happen every day. Whether you are choosing between two supermarket brands, deciding whether to use a credit card, or trying to understand what your employer deducts from your salary, money is part of every major and minor choice you make. Yet most people in Mexico, and around the world, navigate these decisions without a clear understanding of the underlying concepts.
That is not a personal failing. Financial education has historically been inaccessible: taught in universities to students who already have advantages, delivered by institutions that have products to sell, or written in language that assumes prior knowledge. SuperLogix exists to address that gap directly.
We do not offer financial advice, sell financial products, or represent any institution regulated by the CNBV. SuperLogix is an educational platform. That independence allows us to explain concepts without any conflict of interest.
What we believe about learning
People learn financial concepts best when those concepts connect to real situations they recognize. Abstract theory without context is difficult to retain. A module about interest rates becomes meaningful when it is explained through the example of a specific credit card offer or a loan for home appliances.
We also believe that no prior knowledge should be required. Every technical term used in our content is explained when it appears. We do not assume that our readers know what a CETES is, what the difference between gross and net salary means, or how AFORE accounts accumulate over time. We explain from the beginning, without condescension.
The principles behind our approach
Clarity over completeness
A concept explained clearly is more valuable than a comprehensive explanation that confuses. We choose precision and accessibility over exhaustiveness. If a topic requires simplification to be useful, we simplify it and say so.
Neutrality as a principle
We do not recommend specific banks, financial products, or investment strategies. Our role is to explain how things work, not to tell you what to do. Decisions belong to you. We provide the understanding that makes those decisions more informed.
Rooted in Mexican reality
Financial education content is often designed for other contexts and then translated. We build from the specific reality of Mexico: its institutions, its informal economy, its regulatory framework, and the everyday financial situations that workers and families actually face.
Designed for real people
Our content is written for someone who works a full day, comes home tired, and has limited time to study. It is not designed for finance students. It is designed for a parent who wants to understand their mortgage, or a worker who has never opened their AFORE statement.
The distinction between education and advice
In Mexico, providing personalized financial advice is a regulated activity. Institutions that offer it must be authorized by the CNBV or other relevant authorities. SuperLogix operates entirely outside that space. We explain concepts. We describe how systems work. We do not tell you which specific decision to make with your money.
This distinction is not a limitation. It is a feature. Because we are not selling anything and not advising anyone, we can explain things honestly, including the downsides of certain financial products, the risks of certain decisions, and the ways in which institutions sometimes do not act in consumers' interests.
What this means in practice
When we explain how credit cards work, we describe the mechanics of interest, minimum payments, and how debt can accumulate. We do not tell you whether to get a credit card. When we explain AFORE, we describe how retirement savings accounts work, what happens to contributions over time, and what options exist. We do not tell you which AFORE to choose.
That line is consistent across all our content. Understanding comes from us. Decisions come from you.
